A $10 admission donation is suggested. Performances will take place in all weather, as long as audience remains in the pavillion. Audience members are encouraged to bring blankets, low chairs, picnic and appropriate outdoor clothing. There will be short post-show discussions after the performances on July 30, August 1st, 5th and 6th. We hope you'll join us for 10 or 15 minutes more to talk to the actors and directors about the performances you have seen! Children's Theatre Workshop
Theatre Games for BeginnersSaturday, August 1st : 11am - 12:30pm ALL CHILDREN AGES 3-6 Artistic Director Elizabeth Laidlaw and other members of the ensemble will conduct a free theatre workshop for little actors on our stage at the Performance Pavillion in the Elberta Waterfront Park. Tuesday August 4th, 5th & 6th : 11am - 1:30pmPerformance on August 6th at 7:00pm FOR ALL KIDS AGES 6-12 Ensemble members Elizabeth Dowling and Christy Arington will conduct a free 3-day children's theatre workshop that will culminate in a short performance onstage at the Performance Pavillion on August 6th. If you would like to have your child take part in any of our workshops please email us at lakesideshakespeare@gmail.com or call 312.576.5037 to sign up or for more information. Please specify which workshop you are signing your child up for. Children signing up for the 3-day Youth Workshop should be prepared to attend all three workshop days, and arrive at 6:00pm on August 6th in preparation for the August 6th performance.
